Modular Metal Constructions are a relatively new phenomenon in the construction industry. They are considered to be sophisticated by design, but easy to incorporate into any architectural project.

Prefabricated metal modules are the most preferred by the public. Next is wood, but it does not offer the same strength and durability. There are usually two types of modules:

  • Room Pods - which are designed to be integrated into existing structures. For example: a bathroom in a house or a small covered terrace for a street fast-food restaurant.
  • Structural Modules (Modular Structures) - which are prepared to support the weight of an entire building and can be extended to a project of any size.

It is important to understand that if you want larger or taller spaces you will need to combine several containers. Typically a person already knows what kind of house they want, but if you are proposing to build for a business, say a hotel, you need to keep in mind the profile of your clients.

As an exercise of imagination let's say you want to build a hotel in Tokyo. There you have every chance of success with standard size modules, since the public is used to smaller rooms and really likes them. If you want to do one in Rome, it might be the case that the public feels the need for more space, so you need to combine more modules.

Locations and goals can vary in countless ways, but we can efficiently complete any project.

Metal as a building material

Metal is a very common material used in construction because it is durable and helps form a strong load-bearing structure. It can withstand higher tonnages for a smaller amount of material than other compounds.

It can also stretch as a surface without supporting pillars (in the air) over longer distances and support the same mass as other compounds. This gives designers more creative freedom. After all, aesthetics is something we are all interested in.

A capable designer can make a metal structure resistant to harsh weather conditions, earthquakes, corrosion and even give it increased resistance to UV rays. Long service with low degradation.

Metal is a reusable material. If for any reason you want to recycle it, you can do so without any problems. This is why most metal constructions are often seen as environmentally friendly. It's good to know that it doesn't lose its quality with recycling. This cannot be said of other compounds that cannot be melted or fibrous materials.

It is popular practice that when a building reaches the end of its life cycle, to recycle as much of it as possible. Metal can be directly reused in many cases. This happens most often in the environment of metal framed structures.

However, there is no need to limit yourself completely to metal when it comes to Rainz Cube containers. Nothing stops you from incorporating other materials. You can, of course, enjoy the strong metal structure while finishing with a wooden exterior, put warm insulation in the middle, and even have walls inside if that's what you want.

Any combination is valid and can be at your disposal in just a few moments. The important thing is to know what you want. And, after all, if you really can't decide, we'll help you with the greatest love and professionalism.
