Recommended installation (in brief) – to achieve a proper floor

A very good result depends on the "system," not just the board. General recommendations for installation:

  • Flatness and stable support: eliminate any gaps in the structure before plating.
  • Joints and seams: follow the perimeter seam and technological seams; do not "lock" the board into the walls.
  • Correct fastening: mechanical fastening (screws/dowels) and/or compatible adhesives, depending on the substrate. Fastening distances and positioning at the edges are important.
  • Joint treatment: depending on the system, joints can be filled/reinforced to achieve continuity and flatness.
  • Waterproofing in wet areas: mandatory in bathrooms and areas exposed to splashing, with strips and corners where necessary.
  • Preparation for finishing: vinyl/LVT usually requires a perfectly smooth surface; fine leveling may be necessary.

When cutting and processing: use suitable tools, extraction or controlled cutting, and protective equipment (mineral dust must be managed correctly).
